Who Are The Churches Of Christ

The church of Christ consists of people who belong to Jesus who said, “I will build my church” Matthew 16:18. If Christ is a Shepherd, His people are sheep. They hear his voice-John 10:3. They follow him for they know His voice John 10:4. They will not follow a stranger-John 10:5. If Christ is King, His people are His kingdom. They obey His laws-Matthew 28:18- 20. If Christ is High Priest, His people are a holy priesthood. They offer spiritual sacrifice acceptable to God-1Peter 2:5. If Christ is Head, His people are the body. They are one body Ephesian 4:4. Founded in Jerusalem on the Day of Pentecost-Act2:1-47, they break bread and give their contribution on the first day of the week-Acts 20:8, 1Corinthians 16:1, 2. They offer the sacrifice of praise continually, that is the fruit of their lips, giving thanks to His name-Hebrew 13:15.
